Gareth
I'm just discovering 3 years in that I don't have the patience for it either! So your tactic is get students to do your work for you? That's ruthless!

Andrew,
I will keep an eye out for Alison, I am specialising in Leadership Studies so very HR related...in fact inseperable but I would say that according to leadership students, everbody needs it!
It doesn't get me a promotion, I am doing this on my own, my plan was to leave the service in a couple of years. The Navy does run its own MBA programme too, called an MDA (D for Defence) but it usually saves these for senior officers (normally engineers but things are changing). An MDA would be too defence orientated (oriented?) for me anyway. Its ironic that the KC will possibly force my hand and result in discharge anyway. If I

waschasing a promotion I would be worried now because I would need to spend a lot of time doing warfare, which is basically like playing on about 6 playstations at once in a dark room. That might be somebody's idea of heaven but a serious challenge for KC! Even mild KC. So I am glad I chose not to do that about 3 years ago. It was the right choice then and it is defintely the right choice now! Incidentally, I have just been reinstated medically to dive, so I am even happier.
Back to the MBA. By the way thanks to both of you, I have tweaked the PC a bit more and following Andrew's advice plus some judicious slashing and my lit review is down from 13K words to 7K words!
