Thanks for that Gareth. I didn't know that you could get a lubricant as well as a getting something to wet the lens while in! I have learnt so much since coming on here (I wish I had ventured online sonner regarding my KC)

I'm off to get some Blink today.

Hi Andrew,

Is Hypermelose a lubricant or something to use while wearing lenses?

I bought some Blink today and can't believe the difference it has made. I went shopping in London and normally my eyes get so sore and tired I have to take my lenses out at lunchtime, but I am still weraing them (nearly 6pm) and I put them in at 8 this morning, so that is brilliant!!!! :D :D :D

I was able to use it while I was wearing my sclerals. (took lens out, out drops in and replaced lens).

the best thing to do is to ask for advice from the clinic or shop where the lenses are dispensed.

Sandi,

I find if I post enough drivel, statistically it must work for someone :D

Glad the eyes are more comfortable, just avaoid getting carried away and overwearing lenses as a result.
