Prue

She has had occasional hayfever symptoms, but never protracted, whereas her younger sister has always suffered with it. She has an appointment with her doctor next week, so maybe we'll have an answer, or at least an ophth referral, then.

I find Opticrom helpful for hayfever affecting eyes, also Hypromellose cold from the fridge very soothing. I flood the eyes with that before I rub, it helps to ease the itching.

Louise,

Irrigating the eye with a cold solution is soothing, but even better long term if you resist the urge to rub.

yes, I've kind of 'trained' myself to not rub 90% of the time now!

Welcome Nick - just catching up after a week away. As Gareth says, if you or your daughter would like our basic information booklet about keratoconus, do contact me (PM or at anneklepacz@aol.com)
