Val - I have the same problem with opening my eyes wide enough for them - but then I don't have a lot of eyeball surface area showing anyway (hope that makes sense). They usually end up holding my lids back for me. Lovely.

This weeks picture:
Comparing the two, obviously the blood has reduced significantly and it seems as if the stitches have darkened. It also appears (to me) that the join between the new cornea and the old is starting to blur.
In the meantime, the eye still hurts, the rubbing of the stitches and the inside of the eyelid is still an irritant and I have a need to rub the eye - I haven't yet and know that I shouldn't.
Am still very light sensitive and seem to be able to watch TV or use the computer for around half an hour before needing to rest as it gets quite painfull. Still this is a gradual improvement which I am quite pleased about.[img][/img]
