Semi Scleral Fitting
Wondering if anyone has experience of either fitting semi sclerals or experience of wearing? I've recently been fitted with one in my right eye. Local hospital optoms indicate they have limited experience of using/fitting these lenses. Initial fit turned out to be too tight causing my eye to sting f...

Re: Intacs/Kera Rings
Hi Josef
Thank you for sharing your Intacs experience. Glad it's made such a difference for you as I hope the Kerarings do too if you proceed with that. Certainly gives me a positive reference for my research file!

Intacs/Kera Rings
Hi All My second post of the day! I've been advised by 2 consultants...one in Scotland and one in Manchester that corneal segments may be the way to go for me. I've got sufficient corneal thickness etc. Both advise that I'll still require lenses following the procedure although my corneas will be fl...

Lamellar Keratectomy
Hi All Wondered if anyone's had lamellar keratectomy (or PTK photo therapeutic keratectomy as the consultant also referred to it)carried out? My Health Board in Scotland don't offer this procedure yet although I believe they're putting a business case together for offering in the future. The consult...
