UK Keratoconus Self-Help and Support Association

Does anybody here who is suffering from Keratoconus have any trouble walking around without the lenses? Does legally blind mean, that you have trouble walking?

I am posting this to ask for contact info of Dortmund, or Dresden hospitals where cross linking is preformed. Email, or phone would help. Did anyone here got there cross linking done in Germany?
I am currently located in the US and planning to travel to get the cross linking done.
